Family
Jovy & I are starting to get used to life as a parent of 2 toddlers. Roxanne is turning 3 this year and Rendell's first birthday is coming right up.
Roxanne has started to form complex sentences like "Mummy go into yellow taxi, eat sweets, get tattoo" and has begin to become really territorial with her stuffs. Sibling rivalry is real.
A funny conversation recently:
Roxanne: "Daddy throw away"
Raymond: (in classic Singlish) "Throw away what?"
Roxanne: "Daddy throw away 弟弟 (little brother)"
Rendell on the other hand is not backing off. He's punching above his weight by standing up to his sister even though he's still struggling to walk assisted. We also started to notice how charismatic he is and wonder if that will be his superpower growing up.
Work
I'm currently rolling out a new done-for-you SEO service after seeing success with our approach and internal tools with Wisp. Since starting in Feb, I've a confirmed client and 5 more in the pipeline with 3 closing in the next 1 month.
This was my first time charging a 4-digit per month subscription and I've taken a new approach to sell the service first instead of building any 'products' first. The conversations I'm getting everyday helps me figure out how to approach the market better and energies me.
Reading
I've recently discovered some interesting blogs through an interesting "I'll Read It" initiative so I'm re-organising my reading list to see how I can weave those into my reading habit.

Family
Jovy & I have recently welcomed our 2nd kid, Rendell, into the family and he's been a bundle of joy. However, having "2 under 2" can be really trying and we are learning to figure out the new normal for all of us and we are extremely grateful for all the help rendered by everyone around us, especially our parents.
Roxanne has recently started to form short sentences like "爸爸抱弟弟" (or "Daddy carry little brother") to get me to pick Rendell up from Jovy, just so that Jovy can carry her instead. She's been adjusted well to school now but still occasionally catch a bug or two.
Rendell just started to flip over from his back and can carry his own weight in a standing position. He's a lot more smiley at the same stage as Roxanne. Jovy & I talk a lot about how he will be charming tons of people in the future.
We've also recently got help from a Filipino helper and she's recently just completed her 2nd month with us. It's amazing that we no longer have to wake up through the night for feeds and have chores automatically done.
Work
I'm currently working on wisp. It's the simplest way to add a blog (like this one) to websites that has a delightful editorial interface.
I started working on it around March 2024 and have got over 50 websites running it and have 7 paying customers. Wooohoo!
I write about my journey building wisp in the build-in-public section of the blog there if you are keen to follow along.
As for wielded, the AI workspace platform where you can use the latest LLM and have saved personas, I'm still maintaining it but it's taking a backseat to let me focus on wisp. I've a couple of paying customers there to keep the lights on and is still growing organically with some of the new content added to it.
